Meet Mali and Sal, the heart behind The Allspice Villa. Originally from Sri Lanka, this warm and welcoming couple spent over 35 years in Canada raising their three children and building a life rooted in entrepreneurship and consulting.
Married for nearly 50 years, Mali and Sal returned home recently to begin a new chapter in their retirement, this included hosting guests at the Allspice Villa (their home). Today, they take great joy in sharing stories from their journey and offering a personal touch to every guest experience. They're looking forward to welcoming you at the AllSpice.

What's your address and location?
We're located about 15 minutes from the heart of Colombo and about 35minutes from the airport. Our address is 730A, Ethul Kotte,Kotte 10100 Colombo, Sri Lanka
What’s the best way to arrive?
We’re tucked away in Kotte, Colombo, with easy tuk-tuk access. Taxi's and other ride-share services can bring you to our location, there is drop-off and short-term parking access at the villa. You’ll get directions and a map after booking, and we’re happy to help with transport.
What amenities do you offer?
All our rooms include air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable and other details to help make your stay with us comfortable and enjoyable. We also offer free high-speed internet access included for the duration of your stay.
For guests staying at our Apartment Loft, we include a number of other amenities including but not limited to a washer/dryer, ironing board and iron, kettle, dinnerware, fridge etc.
All guests also have access to our common areas such and the living room, breakfast room and dipping pool.

Is breakfast part of my stay?
Absolutely! Enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning, with fresh local flavours to start your day on a delicious note. Breakfast is included for up to 2 people in a standard room and up to 4 people in our Family Loft. Additional guests can pay USD $10/person for breakfast; kids under 12 who are accompanying their parents in the room can eat for free.

Are pets allowed at the AllSpice?
We are a pet-friendly bed & breakfast; however, due to the comfort of our other guests, we will only accommodate pets under 20lbs. Please note that an additional fee of USD $10/night will be added to your room for our cleaning services. Pets are not allowed in the breakfast/dining area.
Do you accommodate long-term stays?
Absolutely. We have business travellers and vacationers booking the AllSpice for weeks and sometimes even monthly. Due to our limited number of rooms and busy booking schedules, we would need to hear about your plans well ahead of time so we can try our best to accommodate your longer stay.Contact us for details and availability.
